- What is Matha Labs?
- Matha Labs is building datasets for human life activities from a first-person, or egocentric, point of view. Founded by Revanth Matha in Los Angeles, we’re starting with ten everyday activity datasets, with HumanCapture for paid capture and annotation and HumanHUD for AR assistance in development. We also offer AI consulting.
- Are any products available?
- HumanHUD has an existing browser experience and a glasses display interface at humanhud.ai. We’re developing it into an AR application that combines egocentric models with visual and audio intelligence to understand human activity and help in the moment. Activity capture, developer APIs, and HumanCapture submissions and payouts are not live yet.
- What consulting do you offer?
- We offer AI strategy, model evaluation, feasibility prototyping, and technical advisory. Each engagement is shaped around a specific question or set of requirements.
- Do you provide training data?
- Our website provides a curated directory of published dataset sources and a working data example. We’re starting with ten first-person datasets about human life activities, then targeting 100, 1,000, and ultimately 10,000. Contact us to discuss a specific task or custom collection; models are developed and evaluated according to each task’s needs.
- How are consulting fees determined?
- Fees depend on the scope, deliverables, and level of involvement. We agree on pricing and timing before work begins. The introductory 15-minute consultation is free.
- Do you work remotely?
- Yes. Matha Labs is based in Los Angeles and can work with clients remotely.
